Air TransportationAirportsSan Francisco is served by two major airports:San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International Airport (OAK). Both airports are approximately 30-35 minutes from the hotel. The San Jose Airport is also accessible for travelling to San Francisco; however this is not recommended because it is approximately 55 miles outside of the city of San Francisco. Upon contacting TQ3Navigant, please identify yourself as an attendee of the 9th ICEM. Ground TransportationPublic TransportationBART—Bay Area Rapid Transit is the San Francisco subway system. BART saves time, money, and hassle with traffic. It’s also more reliable than driving to the airport and more convenient when picking up visitors. BART takes you directly into San Francisco International Airport’s International Terminal where it’s a short walk to the International check-in counters. You can also take BART to Oakland Airport/Coliseum Station where convenient AirBART shuttles link to the airport every 15 minutes. MUNI—The San Francisco Municipal Railway (Muni) is the seventh-largest public transit system in the United States, as measured by ridership. The Muni provides transportation within the city of San Francisco. Its fleet of about 1,000 vehicles, over half of which are electric, consists of subway-surface light-rail vehicles (Metro streetcars), electric trolley buses, diesel buses, the world-famous cable cars, the only ones in the world still operating, and a unique collection of historic streetcars. Getting From The Airport To The HotelBart Transportation—San Francisco International AirportThe BART Station at the airport is in the International Terminal. There are two (2) options when taking BART from San Francisco International Airport to The Hyatt Regency San Francisco:

From The Hyatt Regency San Francisco at the Embarcadero Station (steps from the hotel) you can take San Francisco International Airport Train directly to SFO (Fare $4.70) OR take the Millbrae Train to Millbrae Station (Fare $3.30) and transfer to an SFO Train (Fare $1.50). The total fare is $4.80. Bart Transportation—Oakland International AirportFor transportation from Oakland International Airport to the Hyatt Regency San Francisco you may, at the center island, catch the Air BART Bus. A ticket has to be purchased prior to boarding the bus. There is a ticket machine at the island, the fare is $2. The Air BART Bus will take you to the Coliseum BART Station. At the BART Station purchase a ticket, the fare is $3.15 one-way. From the BART Station take one of the following trains to the Embarcadero Station: Millbrae Train, Daly City Train, SFO Airport Train, or Richmond Train and get off at 12th Street Oakland City Center and transfer to a Millbrae, Daly City or SFO Airport Train. Bart Return TransportationFor transportation from The Hyatt Regency San Francisco to Oakland International Airport use the Embarcadero BART Station take either the Fremont or Dublin/Pleasanton Train to the Coliseum BART Station. The fare is $3.15. Get off at the Coliseum BART Station and purchase a ticket for the Air BART Bus, $2. The Air BART Bus will take you to the Oakland Airport.
