MUIR WOODS & SAUSALITOAfter a short 45-minute ride from San Francisco across the famous Golden Gate Bridge, guests will be awed by one of the most magnificent Redwood forests in the world. In an isolated canyon grows the ancient Muir Woods. Originally settled by the Native American Miwoks, this incredible stretch of land escaped extinction because of its inaccessibility and the extreme difficulty of logging such steep slopes. Today, Muir Woods stands as a reminder of the way much of the surrounding Marin County land once appeared. A natural wonder, Muir Woods is not to be missed on a trip to San Francisco. After an exhilarating experience in nature, guests
will have time to stroll and shop in the quaint
seaside village
of Sausalito.
Guests will
marvel
at the awesome beauty of the Northern Californian
coastline.
Departure time for this tour is 12:30 PM.
