Exhibits will be open Sunday to Tuesday afternoon. Exhibitors will feature state-of-the-art products and services related to the advancement of research within mutagenesis, genomics, imaging, and related areas. At the exhibits, scientists have a first-hand opportunity to talk with exhibitors, and examine and learn about the products and services on display.
Invitation to Exhibit
You are invited to exhibit at the 38th Annual Meeting of the Environmental
Mutagen Society (EMS) which will take place on October 20–24, 2007 at
the Hyatt Regency Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia. Companies interested in exhibiting
should contact Judy Brazel at EMS Headquarters, jbrazel@ems-us.org or by phone at (703) 438-8220.
Benefits of Exhibiting
The Annual Meeting brings together over 400 scientists, administrators and
managers from industry, academia, government, and regulatory agencies to share
the latest developments in genetic mutagenesis. Attendees represent the disciplines
of genetics, cell biology, molecular biology, in
vitro toxicology, alternatives to animal testing, and risk assessment.
The purpose of EMS is to promote basic and applied studies of mutagenesis, the area of genetics dealing with mutation and the detection of environmental mutagens. EMS has the following scientific content areas. These are:
Exposure, detection and metabolism of DNA damaging agents
Responses to DNA damage (DNA repair and recombination, changes in gene expression, cell cycle effects)
Mutational and epigenetic mechanisms (spontaneous and exposure related)
DNA technologies
Molecular epidemiology
Human health effects (developmental, cancer, aging, genetic disease)
Applications: testing, regulatory issues and risk assessment
Is this the niche market that your company is trying to reach? If “yes”, then you should be exhibiting in Atlanta next October.
